The crowd of family and friends welcoming the 300 cyclists to Calvin. It was great to experience the enthusiasm for the short moments it took us to pass under the skywalk. I wished somebody could have addressed all of us for a few minutes, and prayed for us thanking the Lord for our long safe travels. Maybe I'm too sentimental but I craved such "emotional bear hug", since we went around the corner in 15 seconds and only our dear gear truck was there......a bit of an anti climax for some of us having had tough travels....and looking forward much to this reception. The awesome celebration service made up for this, as it, and everything else for the cyclists were extremely well organized. We thank all those involved for their hard work!

Johnny riding his brother-in-laws' trike for the day into Grand Rapids. He got injured in a hunting accident and can not ride an ordinary bike anymore. Johnny wanted to honor him by doing this. Great guy, this Johnny!
