On the way to Madison....

Cyclists engaging in a different effort to irrigate the corn field...
Dear Walter so tired and catnapping after dinner in his chair amidst the noise. SAG drivers spend looong hours out on the road on the cyclists' behalf and we appreciate them very much!
Dini, Betty and Geri cubing aples for the delicious apple salad we were to eat at dinner. Great friendly team of ladies in the kitchen!!!
La Vonne Koedam, our chief chef and the brain planning the menu. She was up at before 5am in the dark and pouring rain this morning at New Hampton to start our breakfast served at 6am so we could get away early to do the 116km for the day. Below is my tent one of the last to be broken up as the rain came down again just as I was about to do it. In the front the blue canvas covers the gear bags of us all against the rain.
