Bike moments to remember en route to Madison.

Negotiating a rough hard packed dirt bike path. Our chains were gritty with sand after this. Some sections were so rough that it would rather be fitting to ride a mountain bike there, not our $3,000 road bikes! I longed for my mountain bike...
Coffe shop in Mt Horeb served free coffee and iced tea to us cyclists...popular resting spot!
Ed Witvoet addressing the whole group of similar looking cyclists ready lined up to have the media shoot and procession in to the church at Madison.
Ready to go on Ed's word....
Kobie and Anne M are beholding me enjoying this royal treatment at Madison"s Crossroads CRC. Haircut, footspa and quad massage! The dear hairdresser lady got a bit over enthusiastic. I told her to trim my hair fairly short, but there was no mirror and when she was done, there were astonishingly little hair left..... may it grow back soon in the next 3 weeks... What a way to lgthten up one's bike and reduce wind resistance...lose the hair!
