Climbing challenges....

The climb up the Rockies on Monday, of which the dear lady said:"You ain't seen nothing yet!", in comparison the Last Saturday's 2 climbs. This was almost 8 miles of hardship, and towards halfway at 8% grade the suffering really increased, as altitude made breathing difficult.
Lou Haveman took a little break for hydration and meditation. I took a couple of breaks for Kodak moments to let my racing heart sink back down my throat.
Wow, we made it!
Lovely Alpine meadows covered in colourful tiny flowers and scattered flocks of grazing sheep. Dense pine trees all around in this state park.
