Markus Lise, Brother of Henry Lise of Newmarket,ON halfway up Berthoud's pass. He has a vivid interest in birds and wildflowers, of which there were many along this road.
George Vanderkuur, a ,knowledgable and strong cyclist. I rode into Huntington with him one day doing 54km/h on level road.
